Payday comes every two weeks, ready or not.

No. 01

Remittances sneak up

CPP, EI, income tax — the CRA wants its share on a schedule, and late remittances come with penalties, not warnings.

No. 02

T4 season is a scramble

February arrives and suddenly you're reconciling a year of pay runs against what actually went out the door.

No. 03

Someone leaves, and it's ROE time

An employee moves on and you're learning what an ROE is at 11 pm, with Service Canada's deadline already running.

What's included

Books and payroll, in the same hands.

Payroll is an add-on to any plan — Essentials, Controller, or CFO. One invoice, one person responsible, and no gap between your bookkeeper and your payroll provider for a missed remittance to fall through.

Payroll add-on — from +$500/month

  • Biweekly or semi-monthly pay runs
  • Payroll remittances to the CRA (CPP, EI, income tax)
  • T4s and T4As at year-end
  • ROEs when someone leaves
  • Payroll compliance, watched all year

With Bookkeeping Essentials, that's books and payroll from $1,500/month all-in.

Fair questions

The payroll fine print.

How often can you pay my team?

Biweekly or semi-monthly — whichever your team is used to. The rhythm gets set once and then it just runs.

Do you handle the CRA remittances?

Yes. Source deductions — CPP, EI, and income tax — get calculated, remitted on schedule, and reconciled against the books, because I'm the one keeping those too.

What about contractors?

Contractor payments run through the books and T4As go out at year-end. If you're not sure someone should be a contractor at all, that's a conversation worth having before the CRA has it with you.

Can I get payroll without the bookkeeping?

Payroll rides on the books — remittances, T4s, and the GL all have to agree. I run payroll for bookkeeping clients so both stay right.

Make payday a non-event.
