Do I have to sign a long-term contract?
No. There's no long-term contract. We start with a conversation, agree on a tier, and go from there. If it stops being useful, you can leave.
What if my books are behind right now?
That's more common than you'd think, and it's why the one-time cleanup exists. I get you current first with a fixed quote, then the monthly plan starts from clean books.
What does "from" mean in the pricing?
The from-price covers a typical transaction volume for that tier. If your business runs heavier (more accounts, more volume, more entities), I'll quote it straight before we start, and the number holds.
How do the add-ons work?
Payroll and accounts payable bolt onto any plan, from +$500/month each, and ride the same monthly rhythm: same close, same review call, one invoice. Most Controller clients add both; that setup runs from $3,500/month all-in.
Who actually does the work?
Me. Not a junior, not an offshore team, not software with a person's name on it. I keep the client list deliberately small so every file gets real attention. That's also why this isn't the cheapest option in Vancouver, and isn't trying to be.
Do you only work with Vancouver businesses?
No. I'm based in Vancouver and most of my clients are here, but the work itself runs on QuickBooks Online, video calls, and shared files. I work with businesses across BC and the rest of Canada; the books don't care about the postal code.
